Yoghurt cake

Always looking for a quick cake recipe? Come this way!

In this recipe, the only measuring utensil you will need is your pot or tub of yoghurt. It may be the easiest and yummiest recipe yet! You can make it quickly. I added coconut to it, DE-LI-CI-OUS. And it’s made with ingredients that you most likely have in your fridge and cupboard. Not my first time making it but I keeping making it again and again, so why not sharing the recipe with you.


  • 1 pot plain yoghurt
  • 1/2 a pot sunflower oil
  • 2 pot sugar
  • 3 pot flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Pour yoghurt into the bowl, add sunflower oil, sugar, vanilla extract, and mix.
  3. Once everything is mixed together, add in the eggs and mix everything again.
  4. Add the baking powder into the flour and pour it into the bowl. Mix well.
  5. Flour and oil the mould and pour the mixture.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
