Dark Chocolate Mousse

Oi! Oi! Everyone!

Who doesn’t like chocolate mousse? For me, it’s in my top 5 desserts (I’d eat that every day if I could!). I often found mousse recipes with a lot of sugar, cream or butter and I find it unnecessary! So here you will find a good chocolate mousse recipe without butter or cream and just 1 tbs of sugar! (yeah, I know that’s nothing!)

You will need:

  •     1 dark chocolate tablet
  •     6 eggs
  •     1 tbs caster sugar
  •     1 vanilla sugar sachet (around 5 g) or vanilla extract
  •     pinch of salt

  1.     Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.
  2.     Put the egg whites in a bowl with a pinch of salt.
  3.     Whisk until they form peaks. Once stiff, put in the fridge.
  4.     Put the egg yolks in another bowl, add sugar and vanilla sugar sachet and mix together.
  5.     Melt chocolate, cut the chocolate and add 3 tbs of water and put in microwave for 1 minute.
  6.     Once it melted, mix with the egg yolks and whisk.
  7.     Mix chocolate with egg whites by adding it bit by bit.
  8.     Put it in pots if you want small portions and let it cool in the fridge overnight.
I hope you will like this recipe! Share your photos with me! I’d love to see your desserts!!
